7-card stud poker II

The whole gameplay of 7-card stud poker can be summed up as 2-4-1 as there are two hole cards, four up cards and a final hole card given to the players in this sequence. The initial round of play generally has all the players receiving two hole cards and one face up card. If bring-in bet is part of the game, then he who has the lowest up card pays it and betting starts. For two players having same rank value of low card, the tie is resolved by taking suit of cards into consideration. It is important to remember that since bring-in is open, the next player is free not to check if he wishes. In case bring-in is not being played, then he who has the up card of highest rank shows and may or may not check, thereby opening the betting rounds. In case there is a tie of high ranked up cards, the player who is positioned nearer the dealer in clockwise fashion, gets the game going.

The game of 7-card stud poker is continued and to determine who will tart each betting rounds, the players. So, following the initial round of betting, before the second betting round can take place there is a dealing of the second up card to the players and the who has the best poker hand, comprising the up cards, can start laying the wager, with free choice of either checking or betting as much as the game rule permits. This preference of who will bet first in each round is decided by taking only the face up cards into account after each round of dealing. Therefore now there are three more rounds of play and betting and the final two up cards and the third and last hole card are dealt. Players who have not folded form the best 5-card poker hand out of the seven cards they are dealt and the player with the highest hand in the showdown wins the pot.
